NCAA APPROVED BASKETBALL SELECTIONS WERE HELD IN ANKARA
The basketball drafts of the American College Sports Association, NCAA, one of the biggest organizations in the world basketball, called "Showcase", were held in Ankara on 29-30 July.

In addition, national basketball player Nezih Özbakır, who previously played at the Super League level in Turkey, made a special visit and chatted with the young basketball players.
While young basketball players experienced the excitement of the NCAA with the showcases it has organized four times with the approval of the NCAA in Istanbul and Izmir since 2015, the athletes who participated in the selections in the organization showed off their talents by being divided into teams for two days and playing in at least two and at most four matches. Video recordings were taken so that the matches could be watched from the USA.
NCAA APPROVED DRAFTS ARE HELD TWICE A YEAR
In his statement, Adin Adinovic, CEO of UBA International, the only approved institution for the selections held in Turkey with the approval of the American College Sports Association, NCAA; "According to NCAA Rules, university teams' player screening period outside the USA is limited to a total of two times each year in April and July. For this reason, there should be a significant number of participants in this limited time, and the interest of families and young people was quite high. To date, we have carried out player screenings outside Türkiye and in different countries in Europe with the approval of the NCAA, and we will continue our organizations. It can be said that it has become permanent in Turkey. Many high-level young basketball players participated in the draft, which we held for the 5th time, and the level was really high.
At the end of the organization, we saw once again how good a job we did with the many thank you messages we received from the families. Once again, we would like to thank everyone who participated and we hope that we were able to help them in this audition, which is an important step in gaining basketball scholarships from high schools or universities in America. "These auditions are a very important step for their educational life as well as their sports careers," he said.
A dunk competition was also held at Ankara Showcase 2017. Adin Adinovic, CEO of UBA International, presented his award to Ensar Demirdalıç, who ended the competition as champion.
